The Art of Non-Violence

The objective of the activity is to equip youth with practical tools to safely intervene when witnessing violence and to communicate non-violently in their own relationships, so they feel more confident navigating and preventing difficult situations. The activity will cover active bystander intervention (recognizing violence, safe ways to act) and nonviolent communication basics, with content adapted to youth. An optional discussion on relationship violence awareness may be included depending on time.

Program :
1-Introduction, reflection & group discussion;
2-Framing the bystander effect and active bystandership;
3-Intervention models and strategies;
4-Practice time;
5-Nonviolent communication basics;
6-Practice time;
7-Optional relationship violence discussion;
8-Closing discussion & reflections.
