Solidarity Dialogues Webinar: Strengthening our Shared Spaces in Times of Conflict

The Solidarity Dialogues is a transformative, community-led project, designed by PLEDJ-Promoting Leadership for Empowerment, Development and Justice, that supports front-line Montreal leaders to facilitate dialogue sessions throughout diverse communities in the city. This webinar, featuring a panel discussion in English and French, launched the Solidarity Dialogues in May 2024. Following the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean's introduction, Sophie Langlois, Radio-Canada journalist, moderates an exchange on how to create shared spaces of unity during conflict with: Dale Dione, Indigenous leader, Rabbi Lisa Grushcow, Temple Emmau-El-Beth Shalom; Hassan Guillet, Table interreligieuse de concertaion du Québec; and Patrice Brodeur, Professor, UdeM.
This is the first of PLEDJ's Solidarity Dialogues Webinar Series. This series will present thoughtful discussions by community leaders and members with diverse lived experiences, demonstrating different models of coexistence for respectful dialogue in times of polarization.
