Skennen'ko:wa? - A Traditional Mohawk Greeting Meaning “Is Your Spirit Still in the Great Peace?”
The aim of this workshop is to invite participants to take part in the two-row Wampum revival, through participatory creation. The themes addressed during the activity are: the historical and cultural significance of the Wampum, the fundamental values of the treaty, the transmission of Indigenous knowledge, citizen participation in reconciliation, and artistic expression as an act of memory and commitment.
