Open House at the Bahá'í Shrine of Montreal

This event aims to raise awareness about the Bahá'í Shrine in Montreal, the message of peace of Abdu'l-Bahá, a central figure in the Bahá'í faith who made it his home in 1912, and how Bahá'ís and their friends are working to build a peaceful and inclusive society with people from all walks of life. The topics covered will include: the historical links between the Shrine and the international peace movement, the teachings of the Bahá'í Faith on peace and inclusion, and the actions inspired by these teachings in Montreal and around the world. Presentations on these themes will be followed by a tour of the Shrine, during which those who wish to do so may take time to reflect. A question and answer period will then follow in the adjacent reception centre.

This approximately one-hour program will be offered at 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
