Participatory Experience : Lulling Time

A haven of poetic tranquility, LULLING TIME immerses passersby into a world of lullabies. A dozen rocking chairs whisper tunes gathered since the project’s inception in 2016, a collection of more than 1500 lullabies in over 75 languages recorded by participants in a mobile studio on site. Their childhood memories feed the living archive that makes the chairs of this participatory installation sing.

Come cradle the Lachine Rapids to celebrate the beginning of fall and the Peace Days together!
