Dare to Change the Narrative: Ustawi Mental Health Awareness Campaign

The objective of the Ustawi campaign is to demystify the stereotypes and taboos surrounding the mental health issues of Afro-descendant youth. Ustawi, which means "well-being" in Swahili, aims to promote a holistic approach that takes into account lived experiences as well as cultural and social realities. The campaign addresses religion, masculinity, fragility and immigration.
The Ustawi campaign’s videos can be viewed at any time on the FJAQ website, social media, and YouTube channel. They are available in French, English, Spanish, Swahili, Kirundi, Lingala, and Creole.
