Our Voices: For a Circle of Peace and Respect

The aim of the activity is to enable young people aged 9 to 12, enrolled in Toujours ensemble's “Parcours et sac à dos” program, to discover Indigenous culture, reflect on peace and respect, and express themselves through a sharing circle and the creation of a symbolic object. The themes addressed will be reconciliation, respect for Indigenous cultures, emotional expression, peace and vivre-ensemble.

Activity schedule:
Young people sit in a giant circle, discover an Indigenous story, create a symbolic object representing peace or respect, then place it in the centre of the circle, sharing its meaning. The activity ends with a moment of silence or a song.

***Registration***: This activity is exclusively for young people already enrolled in a Toujours ensemble program.
