Restorative Justice March
This event is open to everyone, whether you have been a victim, have been convicted of a crime, or are a citizen interested in restorative justice. It is a community-driven initiative intended to: raise awareness about restorative justice and the work of the CSJR; strengthen ties within our community; and raise funds to support our activities. The topics covered will include: active listening, compassion, trust, inclusion, and how we can take restorative actions in our daily lives.
Participants will be greeted starting at 9:30 a.m. at the Kondiaronk Belvedere in Mount Royal Park. The walk will begin at 10 a.m. and cover a 7-km route featuring personal stories and moments of reflection on healing, dialogue, and restorative justice. A friendly picnic will wrap up the event at 2 p.m.
