Introduction to Théâtre de l'Opprimé

Using theatre-based games and exercises, participants will get to know each other better and delve into techniques that generate reflection, dialogue and concerted action as applied to issues that concern us all. We will tackle the general theme of oppression, while allowing issues held as deeply important by those in attendance to emerge. By making the invisible visible – be it our emotions, our conditioning or taboos – we create the conditions for encounter and dialogue while honouring our differences.
