Training – Polarized and Polarizing Debates: How to Address Sensitive Topics?

This training will explore ways to approach sensitive topics in greater depth, and will share actionable ideas and helpful practices for creating spaces for dialogue. A period of discussion and exchange will allow participants to share their experiences in dealing with sensitive topics. Issues covered will include: sensitive topics, teaching practices, helpful techniques, and spaces for dialogue.

Schedule:
– 1:00 pm to 1:15 pm: Welcome and introduction;
– 1:15 pm to 2:30 pm: Training;
– 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm: Discussion period.
