The Steps in the Asylum Application Process in Two Modules: Module 2

The goal of this training is to help participants better understand the different stages of the asylum application process in Canada, to empower them to navigate the process independently, and to provide them with practical guidance on accessing the information and resources they need to build a future in Canada. The training will cover the main stages of the asylum application process in Canada, the various immigration statuses, and how to use the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) portal. Special attention will be given to online procedures and the real-life situations faced by migrants. It will combine a presentation of the main steps in the asylum application process with practical explanations and real-life examples. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions and practice using the IRCC portal with a practice account.
The dates for Module 2 are: September 24, October 15, November 12, and December 17.
