Culture Fair

This activity is intended to celebrate diversity within the Action Centre by highlighting the cultural backgrounds of its staff. The activity aims to foster inclusion, mutual respect, and curiosity by encouraging participants to learn about different traditions, identities, and lived experiences in a positive and engaging environment.

The event will cover cultural diversity and identity, including traditions, countries of origin, languages, clothing, and customs. Staff will share aspects of their heritage in order to promote intercultural understanding, appreciation of differences, and the value of inclusion within the community.

The event runs from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm, beginning with a welcome, and followed by staff presentations and cultural displays throughout the morning. Lunch is from 11:30 am to 1 pm, and the afternoon includes continued visits to cultural stations and informal exchanges, concluding with a group reflection on diversity and inclusion.
