"Building Peace, One Child at a Time"

This activity aims to support children in developing essential values such as peace, mutual aid, respect, kindness, and social responsibility. It allows them to reflect on their role in building a more harmonious world, encouraging them to become conscious, engaged, and open-minded citizens. Through reflection activities, artistic creation, and collective participation, the children will explore themes such as conflict resolution, acceptance of differences, and the importance of living together.

Schedule:
– Reflection Activities
1- The Peace Circle
The children are invited to discuss questions such as: What does peace mean to you?
How can we help a friend who is sad?
What gesture of peace can you make this week?
2- The wall of commitments: each child completes the sentence: "To build peace, I commit to…"
– Artistic Activities
1- The Giant Peace Mosaic
Each child decorates a square that will then be assembled with those of other participants to create a collective work symbolizing unity and solidarity.
2- The Peace Pebbles
The children paint words embodying values of peace on stones: respect, friendship, listening, kindness, courage.
– The doves of peace: creating paper doves on which children write their wishes and hopes for a better world.
– The silent march for peace: a short walk in the yard or neighborhood, accompanied by doves or white ribbons made by the children, will offer a moment of reflection on inner and collective peace.
