Parentpower Conference "Talking Safety with Our Children, without Scaring Them"

This conference aims to teach skills that help children be safer, more confident, make good decisions for their safety when facing strangers or going out, and better manage conflicts or problems with others wherever they go: school, friends, family, in person, online… everywhere!
Adults will learn strategies to:
1- Teach safety rules and skills to young people in an age-appropriate manner while promoting learning through enjoyment rather than fear or confusion.
2- Make safety plans for each place where young people spend time.
3- Equip the family with a common language that helps prevent and counter bullying and abuse.

This activity for adults takes place online.
Participants will receive the Zoom link a few days before the workshop. Adults are invited to participate with their cameras on, away from the presence of their children, to allow each person to address their concerns without hesitation.
