Collage Against Hate

The objective of this activity is to create a safe space for both professionals and the general public to creatively explore how hateful acts manifest themselves and how they can be prevented. Participants will jointly look at new ways of discussing these important issues! Topics covered will include: the emotions associated with hate; the different forms that hate can take; the root causes of hate; the consequences of hate; and ways hate can be prevented.

Program:
– 10:00 am to 10:15 am: Welcome and introduction;
– 10:15 am to 10:25 am: Check-in;
– 10:25 am to 10:35 am: Presentation of the main activity;
– 10:35 am to 11:45 am: Collages;
– 11:45 am to 12:00 pm: Presentation of collages (if participants wish).
