Chinatown Reimagined Forum

The Chinatown Reimagined Forum 2023 will take place in Tiohtià:ke/Montréal, Québec (and online) from September 28 to 30, 2023. It aims to ‘Re-imagine a future for Chinatowns across North America’ bringing together stakeholders, residents, urban planners, professionals, policymakers, and community across North America.
Building on the success of the 2021 Chinatown Reimagined: A Community Forum on Cultural Heritage-Making with more than 1,100 attendees, the JIA Foundation will host an interactive event to provide tools, creative solutions and re-vitalize Chinatowns.
Chinatown Reimagined will be online and in-person. Online forums will speak to overarching North American concerns, while in-person activities serve to engage Montréal’s Chinatown communities in constructive dialogue.
