Every Breath is Sacred: A Dialogue among Spiritual Leaders led by Ka’nahsohon Kevin Deer

As part of the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation and Peace Days, Sacred Fire Productions and the Peace Network for Social Harmony are organizing a roundtable discussion entitled “Every Breath is Sacred: A Dialogue Among Spiritual Leaders”. The event and its discussions will be moderated by Kevin Deer, Kanien'kehà:ka / Mohawk cultural leader and keeper of the faith at the Mohawk Trail Longhouse in Kahnawake, as well as other spiritual leaders, including Rabbi Lisa Grushcow and Imam Hassan Guillet.
The event will take place at the Sacred Fires Production cultural centre in Old Montreal, and will be broadcast live on the Sacred Fire Productions Facebook page, as well as on that of the Peace Network. The discussion aims to promote interfaith understanding and reconciliation, with an emphasis on the aboriginal perspective.
The panel will explore the sacredness of breath and life, and the importance of spiritual leadership in addressing global challenges.

A question-and-answer session is planned.
