Chai and Chat

The Canadian Council of Muslim Women (Quebec chapter) is proud to host an event as part of Peace Days, an initiative taking place from September 21 to October 2 under the theme “Building a better Future: Uniting for Peace”.
In our afternoon together, we will have guests from the realm of interfaith dialogue, as well as other individuals and groups promoting peace and co-existence worldwide.
This will be an opportunity to meet and greet our neighbours and fellow Montrealers and Canadians/ Quebecers, and to better understand that Muslims follow a faith in which peace is a core value.
Schedule:
-A brief Quran recitation and translation about peace,
-A craft table,
-A silent auction,
-A peace-themed meditation exercise, using a white board for collective posts about our beliefs regarding peace.
Lots of opportunity for chat and sharing, and, of course, Chai, samosas and homemade baked goodies.
