Breaking Taboos, Building Peace: A Packing Party against Period Poverty

The Monthly Dignity team is proud to have been invited to participate in Peace Days 2025, alongside more than 90 partners mobilized for this initiative by the Peace Network for Social Harmony. Join us for an engaging evening where you can both learn and make a difference at the same time. Together, let's explore the issues of period poverty in Canada and Montreal, while taking concrete action to support our community.
On the agenda:
– 6:00-6:30 p.m.: Welcome, snacks, and networking;
– 6:30-7:00 p.m.: Presentation on period poverty;
– 7:00-7:45 p.m.: Menstrual product kit packing party;
– 7:45-8:00 p.m.: Closing.

You can contribute by bringing donations of menstrual products, which will be redistributed in the community. Otherwise, we will provide the products for you, and all you have to do is pack them! This is a unique opportunity to learn more about menstrual equity while making a tangible impact for those in need: your packages will be distributed to our partner community organizations.
