Let's Build Peace Together

This initiative aims to bring together citizens and newcomers around a symbolic activity that promotes peace, inclusion, and vivre-ensemble. It will leave a lasting collective legacy while strengthening bonds within the community.
Schedule:
1- Tree planting: Participants will be invited to take part in a collective tree planting, carried out in collaboration with the Borough's Green Spaces Service, in order to take a concrete action in favor of peace and the environment.
2. Time capsule: Each participant can write a wish for the future, a message of peace, or bring a small object symbolizing peace that will be placed into a time capsule, which will be sealed and kept until its opening on the International Day of Peace in 2027.
3. Commemorative plaque: A commemorative plaque bearing the inscription "Tree of Peace and Inclusion" will be installed near the trees to highlight this collective initiative, which is led by Les Visages du monde de Bienvenue à l'immigrant and residents of the neighborhood, under the theme "Building a Better Future: Uniting for Peace."
4. Community Picnic and Exchange: Following the planting, participants will be invited to share a picnic that promotes exchange, intercultural bridge building, and the creation of bonds.
