Positive Masculinities Awareness Workshop

This activity aims to raise men's awareness of positive masculinities by deconstructing gender stereotypes, promoting equality and encouraging inclusive behaviours. The workshop aims to develop the behaviours needed to support equality. We will address the following themes: deconstructing gender stereotypes, promoting inclusive behaviours, raising awareness of violence against women and LGBTQI+ people. Activity schedule:
-First, an introduction to positive masculinities.
-Second, an interactive discussion on gender stereotypes.
-Third, testimonials and case studies on masculinities (listening to podcast excerpts).
– Lastly, a practical activity, a role-play followed by a reflection session to encourage inclusive and egalitarian behaviour among men.
