Successful Awareness Campaigns: An Interview on the Art of Mobilization

Following the workshop “The Keys to a Successful Awareness Campaign,” organized as part of Peace Days 365, Anna Krol, Ph.D., Executive Director of the Peace Network for Social Harmony, conducted a written interview with workshop facilitator Aimée You, Founder and Executive Director of AKDY-Communication. This interview provided an opportunity to delve deeper into the topics presented during the training and to address the specific elements of an effective awareness campaign.
It highlights the connections between communication, civic engagement, and social transformation. It thus offers content that complements Aimée You’s remarks and the discussions with participants that took place during the workshop.

Released ahead of the 12th edition of Peace Days, this interview was designed to support partners on the ground who are submitting an initiative for the 2026 program. The knowledge and tools presented are nonetheless relevant to anyone conducting awareness-raising activities.
