Quebec Culture and Citizenship Program: Supporting Teachers

Each month, the Centre for Civic Religious and Literacy (CCRL) conversations are an opportunity to hear updates about a current or past project, discuss big topics, or learn from a team member’s specialized research area. Conversations are structured but informal and open in order to engage with the interests and questions of the attendees.
In September, the discussion will be led by Ms. Sivane Hirsch, Regional Director of the CCRL for Quebec, an expert in the field and professor of education at Laval University, and Mr. Gilles Beauchamp, postdoctoral researcher at the Canada Research Chair in Epistemic Injustice and Action. The topics covered will be: polarization, reconciliation, climate change, dialogue, and understanding.

This session is intended for teachers and the general public.
