Let's Talk: A Training to Facilitate Complex Conversations with Young People

This activity aims to strengthen the capacities of adults working with, supporting, or interacting with children and youth, in order to help them engage in sensitive, difficult or complex conversations, using a human rights-based approach. After this training, participants will be able to support young people in listening to each other, cultivating empathy, encouraging curiosity, finding common ground, and striving for unity, all while learning about rights. The training will invite participants to engage in various participatory activities, take part in subgroup discussions, and share their own experiences, while looking at how they could apply the advice and best practices to their respective situations. A lunch break will be provided by Equitas.
