LGBTQ+ Awareness Booth

To mark Peace Days, the Quebec LGBT Council invites you to learn about the realities faced by LGBTQ+ people in Quebec and the role of awareness-raising in building a more inclusive society. This booth will provide an opportunity to learn more about the mission of the Quebec LGBT Council, a coalition of more than 85 organizations committed to defending the rights of LGBTQ+ people, as well as its current initiatives. Participants will have the opportunity to speak with the Council’s team, explore resources, and learn more about the awareness campaign launched in the context of the upcoming elections, a campaign which aims to prevent the exploitation of LGBTQ+ issues in public debate. This is an opportunity to foster dialogue, break down prejudices, and reflect together on the importance of respect, inclusion, and dignity for all people.
